How it works
Activate Agonasaur Rex's cycling ability by paying 2 and discarding it.
Agonasaur Rex triggers, putting two +1/+1 counters on Evolution Witness.
Evolution Witness triggers, returning Agonasaur Rex from your graveyard to your hand.
Kheru Goldkeeper triggers, creating four Treasure tokens.
Resolve the Agonasaur Rex ability from step 1, causing you to draw a card.
Activate three Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding 2.
Repeat.
This clever loop relies on a self-sustaining cycle of recursion and token generation, anchored by Evolution Witness, whose triggered ability continuously plucks Agonasaur Rex right back out of your graveyard whenever those +1/+1 counters land on it. Cycling Agonasaur Rex sets the whole engine in motion by triggering Evolution Witness while also drawing you a card, ensuring you always have the dinosaur ready to discard again. Meanwhile, Kheru Goldkeeper quietly watches cards leave your graveyard during your turn, rewarding each recursion loop by generating a flood of Treasure tokens. That token production is then exponentially amplified by the stacking replacement effects of both Parallel Lives and Adrix and Nev, Twincasters, turning a modest pile of treasure into an overwhelming surplus of mana that easily pays for the entire cycle.
