How it works

1. Activate Goblin Bombardment by sacrificing Metalwork Colossus, dealing 1 damage to Smaug.
2. Smaug triggers, creating two artifact tokens due to Adrix and Nev.
3. Activate Metalwork Colossus by sacrificing the two artifact tokens, returning Metalwork Colossus from your graveyard to your hand.
4. Cast Metalwork Colossus by paying 0.
5. Repeat.

This fiery loop sets off by using Goblin Bombardment to fling Metalwork Colossus straight at Smaug the Impenetrable, whose indestructible nature shrugs off the blow while triggering its greed for noncombat damage. Thanks to Adrix and Nev, Twincasters, that single point of damage yields a doubled bounty of Treasure tokens to fuel your engine. You then cash in those very same tokens to activate Metalwork Colossus's graveyard-recursion ability, bringing the giant back to your hand so it can be recast for free using the mana-value reduction from its own passive ability. Repeating this cycle turns your dragon's hoard into a relentless artillery barrage that can clear a board or burn out an entire table.
