How it works

1. Activate Witch's Oven by tapping it and sacrificing Cauldron Familiar.
2. When Cauldron Familiar dies, Dross Scorpion triggers, untapping Witch's Oven.
3. Resolve the Witch's Oven ability, creating a Food artifact token.
4. Activate Cauldron Familiar by sacrificing a Food token, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
5. When Cauldron Familiar enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing each opponent to lose 1 life and you to gain 1 life.
6. Repeat.

This loop transforms a humble cat-and-oven routine into a devastating engine by weaving in Mycosynth Lattice and Dross Scorpion. Because Mycosynth Lattice turns all permanents into artifacts, the death of Cauldron Familiar as it is fed to Witch's Oven doesn't just make a Food token—it also triggers Dross Scorpion, allowing you to untap the Oven immediately. You then use that newly created Food to pay the cost to return Cauldron Familiar from your graveyard to the battlefield, draining your opponents' life totals over and over again.
