How it works

1. Cast Cauldron Familiar by paying .
2. When Cauldron Familiar enters, it and Weapons Manufacturing trigger.
3. Resolve the Cauldron Familiar trigger, causing each opponent to lose 1 life and you to gain 1 life.
4. Resolve the Weapons Manufacturing trigger, creating a Munitions artifact token.
5. Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing Cauldron Familiar.
6. Activate Cauldron Familiar by sacrificing the Munitions, as it is a Food due to Ragost.
7. The Munitions triggers, dealing 2 damage to any target.
8. Resolve the Cauldron Familiar ability, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
9. Repeat from step 2.

This gruesome loop transforms every permanent you own into an artifact through Encroaching Mycosynth, turning Ragost, Deft Gastronaut into a Food producer that can pelt your opponents with damage. When Cauldron Familiar enters the battlefield, it triggers Weapons Manufacturing to spawn a Munitions token, which leaves the battlefield to deal damage when it is sacrificed. You can sacrifice Cauldron Familiar to animate and grow Phantom Train, then sacrifice that very Munitions token—now acting as a Food thanks to Ragost's blanket effect—to recur the familiar right back to the battlefield.
