How it works

1. Cast Cauldron Familiar either from your hand or from the top of your library by paying or 1 life respectively.
2. When Cauldron Familiar enters, it triggers, causing each opponent to lose 1 life and you to gain 1 life.
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Cauldron Familiar.
4. When Cauldron Familiar dies, Mortuary triggers, putting Cauldron Familiar from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
5. Repeat.

This delightful little loop turns a humble cat into an engine of continuous drain and colorless wealth. By leveraging Ashnod's Altar, you can sacrifice Cauldron Familiar for a pair of mana while conveniently sending the creature to the graveyard to trigger Mortuary, which instantly recycles it to the top of your library. Thanks to Gwenom, Remorseless granting you the ability to play cards directly from the top of your library by paying life instead of mana, you can recast the cat for free and repeat the cycle indefinitely. Each iteration drains your opponents and pads your life total, easily fueling Gwenom, Remorseless's alternative payment requirement while generating an infinite storm count and endless sacrifice triggers.
