How it works

1. Activate Cauldron Familiar by sacrificing a Food.
2. Ygra triggers, putting two +1/+1 counters on it.
3. Resolve the Cauldron Familiar ability, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
4. Cauldron Familiar and Quintorius, History Chaser trigger.
5. Resolve the Quintorius, History Chaser trigger, creating a creature token.
6. Resolve the Cauldron Familiar trigger, causing each opponent to lose 1 life and you to gain 1 life.
7. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Cauldron Familiar.
8. When Cauldron Familiar dies, Ygra triggers, putting two +1/+1 counters on it.
9. Repeat.

This loop transforms a humble cat into an infinite engine of life and metal, anchored by Ygra, Eater of All turning every creature on the battlefield into a Food artifact. With Ygra on board, Cauldron Familiar can sacrifice itself or any other creature to fuel its own recursive return, while Ashnod's Altar converts those sacrifices into a steady stream of colorless mana. Every time the cat leaves the graveyard, Quintorius, History Chaser chimes in to generate a growing army of Spirit tokens, turning a simple death loop into an overwhelming advantage.
