How it works

1. Cast Cauldron Familiar either from your hand or from the top of your library by paying or 1 life respectively.
2. When Cauldron Familiar enters, it triggers, causing each opponent to lose 1 life and you to gain 1 life.
3. Activate Viscera Seer by sacrificing Cauldron Familiar.
4. When Cauldron Familiar dies, Mortuary triggers, putting Cauldron Familiar from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
5. Resolve the Viscera Seer ability.
6. Repeat.

This loop turns a humble cat into an endless engine of life-draining devastation by leveraging the top-deck manipulation of Mortuary and Viscera Seer. With Bolas's Citadel in play, you can continuously cast Cauldron Familiar straight from the top of your library for just 1 life, dodging traditional mana costs entirely while triggering its life-drain ability over and over. Whenever you sacrifice the cat to Viscera Seer, Mortuary steps in to instantly place it right back onto the top of your library, keeping the sequence perpetually primed for Bolas's Citadel to cast it once more.
