How it works

1. Activate Cauldron Familiar by sacrificing a Food.
2. Ygra triggers, putting two +1/+1 counters on it.
3. Resolve the Cauldron Familiar ability, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
4. Cauldron Familiar and Garrison Excavator trigger.
5. Resolve the Garrison Excavator trigger, creating a creature token.
6. Resolve the Cauldron Familiar trigger, causing each opponent to lose 1 life and you to gain 1 life.
7. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Cauldron Familiar.
8. When Cauldron Familiar dies, Ygra triggers, putting two +1/+1 counters on it.
9. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability.
10. Repeat.

This vicious cycle turns the graveyard into a revolving door of life drain, fueled entirely by Ygra, Eater of All turning every creature on the battlefield into a Food artifact. With Ygra's presence, Cauldron Familiar can easily sacrifice itself—or any other creature—to pay its own return cost, and Carrion Feeder is right there to cleanly sacrifice the Cat to fuel its own growth. As the Familiar repeatedly dies and returns to the battlefield, Garrison Excavator happily chimes in with an endless supply of 2/2 Spirit tokens whenever cards leave your graveyard, letting you drain your opponents out of the game while growing an unstoppable board.
