How it works

1. Activate Cauldron Familiar by sacrificing a Food.
2. Ygra triggers, putting two +1/+1 counters on it.
3. Resolve the Cauldron Familiar ability, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
4. Cauldron Familiar and Teval trigger.
5. Resolve the Teval trigger, creating a creature token.
6. Resolve the Cauldron Familiar trigger, causing each opponent to lose 1 life and you to gain 1 life.
7. Activate Megatog by sacrificing Cauldron Familiar.
8. When Cauldron Familiar dies, Ygra triggers, putting two +1/+1 counters on it.
9. Resolve the Megatog ability.
10. Repeat.

This sinister engine relies on Ygra, Eater of All to turn every creature into a Food artifact, meaning your persistent little Cauldron Familiar can constantly sacrifice itself—or any other creature—to fuel its own resurrection. Megatog acts as the ultimate executioner here, sacrificing that returning cat while pumping itself into a terrifyingly huge trampler. Meanwhile, Teval, the Balanced Scale watches the graveyard like a hawk, triggering its ability whenever cards leave it to flood the board with an endless army of Zombie Druid tokens.
