How it works

1. Cast Cauldron Familiar by paying .
2. When Cauldron Familiar enters, it and Weapons Manufacturing trigger.
3. Resolve the Cauldron Familiar trigger, causing each opponent to lose 1 life and you to gain 1 life.
4. Resolve the Weapons Manufacturing trigger, creating a Munitions artifact token.
5. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Cauldron Familiar.
6. Activate Cauldron Familiar by sacrificing the Munitions, as it is a Food due to Ragost.
7. The Munitions triggers, dealing 2 damage to any target.
8. Resolve the Cauldron Familiar ability, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
9. Repeat from step 2.

This elaborate loop transforms your entire board into an engine of continuous drain and damage by weaving together artifact synergy, sacrifice outlets, and recursion. With Mycosynth Lattice blanketing every permanent in existence, Ragost, Deft Gastronaut is able to impart the Food type to everything you control—including the Munitions tokens generated by Weapons Manufacturing whenever a nontoken artifact enters. You cast Cauldron Familiar to trigger its life swing and spawn a Munitions token, then feed the cat to Phyrexian Altar for mana while leveraging Ragost's newly granted Food subtype to sacrifice the Munitions token to the cat's own recursion ability. The departure of that Munitions token triggers its own damage dealing, and because Ragost untaps itself whenever you gain life, the whole loop feeds smoothly back into itself for an infinite cascade of damage, life, and mana.
