How it works
- Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing Cauldron Familiar
- When Cauldron Familar dies, Pitiless Plunderer triggers, creating a Food, a Clue, and a Treasure token.
- Resolve the Phantom Train ability.
- Activate Cauldron Familiar by sacrificing a Food, returning Cauldron Familiar from your graveyard to the battlefield.
- When Cauldron Familiar enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing each opponent to lose 1 life and you to gain 1 life.
- Repeat.
This ingenious loop relies on turning a single sacrifice into an overwhelming surplus of resources, transforming Phantom Train into a recurring engine of destruction. By feeding Cauldron Familiar to the Train, you trigger Pitiless Plunderer to generate a single token, which Academy Manufactor immediately triples into a Clue, a Food, and a Treasure. That newly created Food is then used to bring Cauldron Familiar right back from the graveyard to the battlefield, draining your opponents and securing the fuel needed to repeat the entire process indefinitely.
