How it works

1. Cast Cauldron Familiar either from your hand or from the top of your library by paying or 1 life respectively.
2. When Cauldron Familiar enters, it triggers, causing each opponent to lose 1 life and you to gain 1 life.
3. Activate Shilgengar by sacrificing Cauldron Familiar.
4. When Cauldron Familiar dies, Mortuary triggers, putting Cauldron Familiar from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
5. Resolve the Shilgengar ability.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop centers around the clever interaction between Cauldron Familiar and Shilgengar, Sire of Famine, where you feed the cat to the Sire to generate a Blood token, triggering a continuous cycle of sacrifice. As the cat hits the graveyard, Mortuary intercepts it, immediately placing the creature back on top of your library rather than letting it stay in the bin. This perfectly sets up Gwenom, Remorseless, whose attack trigger lets you cast that very same cat straight off the top of your library by paying life instead of its mana cost, fueling endless entry triggers and life drains.
