How it works

1. Activate Cauldron Familiar by sacrificing a Food.
2. Ygra triggers, putting two +1/+1 counters on it.
3. Resolve the Cauldron Familiar ability, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
4. Cauldron Familiar and Quintorius, History Chaser trigger.
5. Resolve the Quintorius, History Chaser trigger, creating a creature token.
6. Resolve the Cauldron Familiar trigger, causing each opponent to lose 1 life and you to gain 1 life.
7. Activate Woe Strider by sacrificing Cauldron Familiar.
8. When Cauldron Familiar dies, Ygra triggers, putting two +1/+1 counters on it.
9. Resolve the Woe Strider ability.
10. Repeat.

This loop is a masterclass in recycling, fueled by the way Ygra, Eater of All transforms every creature on your battlefield into a Food artifact. Because Cauldron Familiar is itself a Food while Ygra is in play, the cat can sacrifice itself to return to the battlefield, while Woe Strider provides an alternative sacrifice outlet to feed the loop and smooth your draws with scry 1. Meanwhile, Quintorius, History Chaser watches cards leave your graveyard to continuously spawn 3/2 Spirit tokens, turning a simple recursion engine into an overwhelming army of the dead.
