How it works

1. Give Lurking Roper lifelink, if needed.
2. Activate Lurking Roper by tapping it, dealing 1 damage to any target and causing you to gain 1 life.
3. Lurking Roper triggers, untapping itself.
4. Repeat from step 2.

This clever setup turns a humble insect into a self-contained artillery piece by combining Sorcerer's Wand with Lurking Roper. Because Lurking Roper naturally fails to untap during your untap step, it relies entirely on its own life-gaining trigger to stand back up, which the Wand conveniently provides by converting the creature's tap into both damage and life. As long as Lurking Roper has lifelink, every ping from the equipped artifact immediately triggers an untap, allowing you to cycle the tap ability infinitely for endless damage and life.
