How it works

1. Give Lurking Roper lifelink, if needed.
2. Activate Lurking Roper by tapping it, dealing 1 damage to any target and causing you to gain 1 life.
3. Lurking Roper triggers, untapping itself.
4. Repeat from step 2.

This clever synergy transforms a humble invertebrate into a self-contained firing squad by granting Lurking Roper the ability to deal damage directly through Psionic Gift. Because the Roper normally refuses to untap during your untap step, it relies entirely on its own triggered ability to reset. Every time you tap it to ping any target, the resulting lifegain instantly triggers the Roper to untap itself right back, creating a closed loop of infinite damage and life.
