How it works

1. Cast Crimson Kobolds by paying 0.
2. Tangleroot triggers, adding .
3. When Crimson Kobolds enters the battlefield, The Great Henge triggers.
4. Holding priority, activate Words of Wind by paying 1, replacing the next card you draw.
5. Resolve the The Great Henge trigger, causing you to return Crimson Kobolds from the battlefield to your hand, and causing each opponent to return a permanent they control from the battlefield to your hand.
6. Repeat.

This delightfully quirky loop uses Crimson Kobolds as a free, recurring trigger for your engine, letting you cast it for zero mana while Tangleroot immediately refunds the {G} needed to keep the cycle going. As the Kobolds enter, The Great Henge triggers to draw you a card, which you intercept and replace by activating Words of Wind; this turns your normal card draw into a forced bounce that scoops up the Kobolds alongside an opponent's permanent. With The Great Henge's cost reduction, mana generation, and card-filtering replacement effect working in harmony with Tangleroot's mana and Words of Wind's disruptive redirection, you can endlessly replay the Kobolds to bounce every single permanent your opponents control back to their hands.
