How it works

1. Activate the Equipment by paying its equip cost, attaching it to Crimson Kobolds.
2. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Crimson Kobolds, adding .
3. When Crimson Kobolds dies, Koll triggers, returning Crimson Kobolds from your graveyard to your hand.
4. Cast Crimson Kobolds by paying its mana cost.
5. Repeat.

This elegant loop transforms a humble zero-mana creature into a perpetual motion machine by turning the graveyard into an extension of your hand. Because Crimson Kobolds costs nothing to cast, you can repeatedly feed it to Phyrexian Altar to generate a steady stream of mana and death triggers, but it needs a little help to keep coming back. That's where Koll, the Forgemaster steps in: by ensuring the Kobold is carrying an Equipment when it hits the Altar, Koll's triggered ability catches the creature as it dies and bounces it right back to your hand so you can cast it all over again.
