How it works

1. Activate Shilgengar by sacrificing Crimson Kobolds.
2. When Crimson Kobolds dies, Mortuary and Remembrance trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Crimson Kobolds from your graveyard on top of your library.
4. Resolve the Remembrance trigger, searching your library for Crimson Kobolds and putting it into your hand.
5. Resolve the Shilgengar ability.
6. Cast Crimson Kobolds by paying 0.
7. Repeat.

This fascinating loop relies on Crimson Kobolds as a zero-mana catalyst to fuel Shilgengar, Sire of Famine, which happily accepts the sacrifice to churn out a Blood token. As soon as the Kobolds hit the graveyard, both Mortuary and Remembrance trigger simultaneously; Mortuary places the Kobolds back on top of your library while Remembrance tutors another copy directly into your hand. Because the Kobolds cost nothing to recast, you can immediately replay them from your hand and repeat the cycle endlessly, generating infinite artifact tokens, death triggers, and sacrifice fodder.
