How it works

  1. Activate Soul Foundry by paying 0 and tapping it, creating a token copy of Crimson Kobolds
  2. When the Crimson Kobolds token enters the battlefield, Intruder Alarm triggers, untapping all creatures.
  3. Repeat.

This ingenious loop transforms your artifacts into a self-sustaining engine by using March of the Machines to turn Soul Foundry and Intruder Alarm into artifact creatures, allowing them to participate in the chaos they create. Once Soul Foundry has imprinted Crimson Kobolds, you can repeatedly pay {0} to stamp out a new token copy for free. Every time that Crimson Kobolds enters the battlefield, Intruder Alarm triggers to untap all creatures—which now includes your entire board of March-animated artifacts—readying Soul Foundry to be tapped again for an infinite cascade of creature tokens and etb triggers.
