How it works

1. Activate Woe Strider by sacrificing Crimson Kobolds
2. When Crimson Kobolds dies, Mortuary triggers, putting Crimson Kobolds from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
3. Resolve the Woe Strider ability.
4. Cast Crimson Kobolds from the top of your library by paying 0 life.
5. Repeat.

This ingenious loop uses Bolas's Citadel to cast spells directly from the top of your library by paying life instead of mana, turning Crimson Kobolds's zero mana value into a free action. Each time you sacrifice the Crimson Kobolds to Woe Strider, Mortuary intercepts the creature on its way to the graveyard and immediately places it right back on top of your library. Because the Kobolds cost zero mana to cast, Bolas's Citadel lets you repeat this process endlessly without losing life, generating an infinite storm count, death triggers, and free scry 1 activations from Woe Strider's sacrifice ability.
