How it works
- Activate up to seven lands by tapping them, adding at least 2.
- Cast Displace by paying 2, blinking Eternal Witness and Great Whale
- When Eternal Witness and Great Whale enter the battlefield, their abilities trigger.
- Resolve the Eternal Witness trigger, returning Displace from your graveyard to your hand.
- Resolve the Great Whale trigger, untapping up to seven lands.
- Repeat.
This elegant loop achieves infinite mana and spell-casting by continuously recycling its own fuel. By casting Displace, you blink both Eternal Witness and Great Whale simultaneously. Great Whale repays your initial investment by untapping your lands upon arrival, while Eternal Witness plucks Displace right back out of your graveyard to hand, setting the stage to do it all over again.
