How it works

1. Activate Saffi by sacrificing it, targeting Eternal Witness.
2. Activate Viscera Seer by sacrificing Eternal Witness.
3. When Eternal Witness dies, Saffi triggers, returning Eternal Witness from your graveyard to the battlefield.
4. When Eternal Witness enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Saffi from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Resolve the Viscera Seer ability, causing you to scry 1.
6. Cast Saffi by paying 0 due to Morophon.
7. Repeat.

This brilliant loop relies on a clever mana reduction and a seamless recursion engine to spin out infinitely. By choosing the Human creature type for Morophon, the Boundless as it enters the battlefield, you eliminate Saffi Eriksdotter's colored mana cost entirely, allowing her to be recast for free over and over. You then sacrifice Saffi targeting Eternal Witness, before immediately sacrificing Eternal Witness to Viscera Seer to set off the chain. The moment Eternal Witness hits the graveyard, Saffi's delayed trigger returns it to the battlefield, which in turn triggers Eternal Witness to pluck Saffi right back out of the graveyard and into your hand. Repeating this cycle yields infinite death, sacrifice, and entry triggers alongside endless scry 1 utility.
