How it works

1. Activate Saffi by sacrificing it, targeting Eternal Witness.
2. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Eternal Witness.
3. When Eternal Witness dies, Saffi triggers, returning Eternal Witness from your graveyard to the battlefield.
4. When Eternal Witness enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Saffi from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
6. Cast Saffi by paying 0 due to Morophon.
7. Repeat.

This elegant loop uses the persistent self-sacrifice of Saffi Eriksdotter to endlessly rescue Eternal Witness from the graveyard whenever Carrion Feeder consumes her. As Eternal Witness repeatedly returns to the battlefield, its enters-the-battlefield ability brings Saffi Eriksdotter right back to your hand for zero mana, thanks to Morophon, the Boundless making the cast completely free by wiping away its colored mana cost. With the cycle fully self-sustaining, Carrion Feeder grows infinitely large while generating an endless storm count and a storm of creature triggers.
