How it works

1. Activate Mystic Sanctuary by tapping it, adding .
2. Cast Time Stretch by paying its mana cost, causing you to take two extra turns after this one.
3. Move to your first extra turn.
4. Activate Mystic Sanctuary by tapping it, adding .
5. Cast Ghostly Flicker by paying 2, blinking Mystic Sanctuary and Eternal Witness.
6. When Eternal Witness and Mystic Sanctuary enter the battlefield, they trigger.
7. Resolve the Eternal Witness trigger, returning Ghostly Flicker from your graveyard to your hand.
8. Resolve the Mystic Sanctuary trigger, putting Time Stretch from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
9. Move to your next turn, drawing Time Stretch during your draw step.
10. Repeat.

This brilliant infinite-turn loop begins by casting Time Stretch to secure a sequence of extra turns, giving you all the time you need to set up your board. Once you enter those bonus turns, Ghostly Flicker comes in as the engine that blinks both Eternal Witness and Mystic Sanctuary simultaneously. Each time they re-enter the battlefield, Eternal Witness scoops Ghostly Flicker back out of your graveyard while Mystic Sanctuary places Time Stretch right back on top of your library to be drawn and cast anew.
