How it works

  1. Activate Verdant Eidolon by paying G mana and sacrificing it, adding G manaG manaG mana if you have two or more B mana available, or B manaB manaB mana otherwise.
  2. Activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing Eternal Witness and another nontoken creature, adding CCCC.
  3. Cast Living Death by paying 3B manaB mana, causing each player to exile all creature cards in their graveyards, sacrifice all creatures they control, then put all cards exiled this way onto the battlefield.
  4. When Eternal Witness enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Living Death to your hand from your graveyard.
  5. Repeat.
