How it works

1. Activate Mystic Sanctuary and Basalt Monolith by tapping them, adding CCC.
2. Cast Ghostly Flicker either from your hand or from the top of your library by paying 2, blinking Mystic Sanctuary and Basalt Monolith.
3. When Mystic Sanctuary enters untapped, it triggers, putting Ghostly Flicker from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns a modest land and artifact into a self-sustaining engine by repeatedly leveraging their enters-the-battlefield and untap mechanics. By casting Ghostly Flicker, you reset both Basalt Monolith and Mystic Sanctuary, with the latter's triggered ability placing the spell right back on top of your library. While you can cast the flicker directly from your hand to kick things off, having Precognition Field in play lets you cast it straight off the top of your library as the loop churns through infinite iterations.
