How it works

1. Activate Lightning Greaves's equip ability by paying 0, targeting another nontoken creature you control.
2. Monk Gyatso triggers, airbending the targeted creature.
3. The Lightning Greaves ability fizzles due to no longer having a legal target.
4. Cast the creature from exile by paying 0 due to Doc Aurlock.
5. Repeat.

This crafty loop transforms Lightning Greaves from a simple piece of protection into an engine for endless triggers by exploiting how targeting works with shroud. By repeatedly targeting a creature with the Greaves's equip ability while Monk Gyatso is on the battlefield, you force the Monk to "airbend" that creature into exile—which causes the equip ability to fizzle due to an illegal target, preserving your {0} mana cost. Once the creature is safely in exile, Doc Aurlock, Grizzled Genius steps in to reduce its casting cost by {2}, allowing you to cast it right back onto the battlefield for free to set up the next iteration.
