How it works

1. Cast Nameless Inversion from your graveyard, as it is a Knight card, by paying 0 due to Archmage of Runes and Morophon, giving a creature +3/-3 until end of turn.
2. If the creature has toughness 0 or less, the creature dies as a state-based action.

Morophon, the Boundless acts as the cornerstone by naming Knights and shaving a full {W}{U}{B}{R}{G} off the cost of your Knight spells, while Haakon, Stromgald Scourge ensures you can legally cast those spells directly from your graveyard. Because Nameless Inversion is a Changeling, it counts as a Knight and triggers Haakon's graveyard permission, but it also carries the instant and sorcery card types. This dual identity means that Archmage of Runes steps in to shave an additional {1} off its generic mana cost—dropping the total cost of Nameless Inversion to literally zero. You can then repeatedly cast Nameless Inversion from your graveyard for free to reduce opposing creatures' toughness to 0 and kill them as state-based actions, all while Archmage of Runes keeps your hand full by drawing you a card every single time you cast it.
