How it works
- Cast Ebondeath from your graveyard by paying 0.
- Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Ebondeath, adding CC.
- Repeat.
By naming Dragon as Morophon, the Boundless's chosen creature type, the Changeling's cost-reduction ability perfectly offsets the alternative mana cost granted by Jodah, Archmage Eternal, allowing you to cast spells of that type for free. This breakthrough lets you cast Ebondeath, Dracolich straight from your graveyard without spending any mana, immediately utilizing Ashnod's Altar to sacrifice it for a pair of colorless mana. Because Ebondeath's own resurrection condition simply requires *any* other creature to have died that turn—a requirement easily satisfied by its own repeated sacrifices—you can loop this cycle indefinitely to flood your pool with infinite colorless mana and trigger an endless stream of deaths and enters-the-battlefield events.
