How it works

1. Activate Perilous Forays by paying 1 and sacrificing a creature, causing you to search your library for a land card with a basic land type and put it onto the battlefield tapped.
2. When the land enters the battlefield, Felidar Retreat triggers, creating a creature token.
3. Activate Earthcraft by tapping the creature token, untapping a basic land.
4. Activate the land by tapping it, adding 1.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms your deck's basic-typed lands into an unstoppable recruitment drive by leaning on Earthcraft to constantly replenish your sacrifice fodder. Whenever you sacrifice a creature to pay for Perilous Forays, the land you fetch triggers Felidar Retreat to spawn a fresh Cat Beast token. You then tap that newly minted token using Earthcraft's static ability to untap a basic land, generating the mana needed to keep the Perilous Forays engine running. This lets you strip every single basic-typed land straight out of your library and onto the battlefield in one fell swoop!
