How it works

1. Activate Perilous Forays by paying 1 and sacrificing a creature you control.
2. If the creature was a Dragon Egg, it triggers, creating a 2/2 Dragon creature token.
3. Resolve the Perilous Forays ability, searching your library for a land card with a basic land type and putting it on the battlefield untapped due to Horizon Explorer.
4. When the land enters the battlefield, Nesting Dragon triggers, creating a 0/2 Dragon Egg creature token.
5. Activate the land by tapping it, adding 1.
6. Repeat.

This elegant chain strips your entire library of its basic-typed lands by turning a single mana investment into a self-sustaining loop. Horizon Explorer ensures the lands fetched by Perilous Forays enter untapped so you can immediately tap them for the mana needed to keep going. Meanwhile, Nesting Dragon watches those lands arrive to constantly churn out Dragon Egg tokens, which you then sacrifice to Perilous Forays to fuel the next iteration while naturally hatching into aggressive 2/2 attackers.
