How it works

1. Activate Perilous Forays by paying 1 and sacrificing a creature, causing you to search your library for a land card with a basic land type and put it onto the battlefield tapped.
2. When the land enters the battlefield Tireless Provisioner and each Scute Swarm you control trigger.
3. Resolve the Tireless Provisioner trigger, creating a Treasure token.
4. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding 1.
5. Resolve the Scute Swarm trigger(s), creating that many creature token(s).
6. Repeat.

This brilliant engine feeds on itself by turning sacrificed creatures into an ever-growing army of lands and tokens. You kick off the chain with Perilous Forays, sacrificing a creature to fetch any basic-typed land from your deck, which immediately drops onto the battlefield. That arrival triggers Tireless Provisioner to mint a fresh Treasure token, whose mana funds the next activation of Perilous Forays. Meanwhile, the very same land drop triggers Scute Swarm to flood your board with a growing swarm of insect tokens—exponentially increasing the fodder you need to keep feeding the Forays until every basic land type in your library is safely in play.
