How it works

1. Activate Perilous Forays by paying 1 and sacrificing a creature, causing you to search your library for a land card with a basic land type and put it onto the battlefield tapped.
2. When the land enters the battlefield Lotus Cobra and Retreat to Emeria trigger.
3. Resolve the Lotus Cobra trigger, adding 1.
4. Resolve the Retreat to Emeria trigger, creating a creature token.
5. Repeat.

This engine transforms a single mana investment into a massive wave of ramp by feeding tokens straight back into the machine. When you sacrifice a creature to Perilous Forays, you fetch a typed land that immediately triggers Lotus Cobra to refund the activation cost and Retreat to Emeria to replace the sacrificed fodder with a fresh Kor Ally token. Because Retreat to Emeria's landfall ability keeps churning out these bodies every time a land drops, you can continuously pay into Perilous Forays until every single basic-typed land in your library rests safely on the battlefield.
