How it works

1. Activate Perilous Forays by paying 1 and sacrificing a creature you control, searching your library for a land card with a basic land type and putting it on the battlefield untapped due to Horizon Explorer.
2. When the land enters the battlefield, Field of the Dead triggers, creating a creature token.
3. Activate the land by tapping it, adding 1.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms Perilous Forays into an aggressive engine by leveraging Horizon Explorer's static ability to ensure every land fetched enters the battlefield untapped, providing the mana needed to keep sacrificing. As those lands flood the battlefield, Field of the Dead continuously triggers to reward your expansion with an army of 2/2 Zombie tokens once you control seven or more lands with different names. By repeatedly feeding creatures to the Forays and netting fresh lands and tokens, you rapidly thin your library and build an overwhelming board state.
