How it works

1. Activate Perilous Forays by paying 1 and sacrificing a creature you control, searching your library for a land card with a basic land type and putting it on the battlefield untapped due to Horizon Explorer.
2. When the land enters the battlefield, Thranduil, Sindarin Liege triggers, creating a creature token.
3. Activate the land by tapping it, adding 1.
4. Repeat.

This ingenious loop lets you rapidly harvest your deck by leveraging Perilous Forays to sacrifice creatures and fetch land cards with a basic land type straight to the battlefield. Because Horizon Explorer ensures those incoming lands enter untapped, you can immediately tap them for the mana needed to keep paying for the Forays activation. Meanwhile, each new arrival triggers the landfall ability of Thranduil, Sindarin Liege to instantly replace your sacrificed material with a fresh Elf creature token, feeding the engine indefinitely until every matching land from your library is safely in play.
