How it works

1. Activate Warren Soultrader by paying 1 life and sacrificing the persist creature.
2. When the persist creature dies, its persist ability and Ashes of the Abhorrent trigger.
3. Resolve the persist trigger, returning the persist creature from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
4. Resolve the Ashes of the Abhorrent trigger, causing you to gain 1 life
5. Resolve the Warren Soultrader ability, creating a Treasure token.
6. When the Treasure enters, Mm'menon triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on the persist creature.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms a persistent creature into an infinite engine by leveraging Warren Soultrader to repeatedly sacrifice it for Treasure tokens. Each sacrificed creature feeds Ashes of the Abhorrent, which happily counters the life paid by returning that lost life right back to your total. Meanwhile, every time a new Treasure hits the board, Mm'menon, Uthros Exile notices the artifact entering and places a +1/+1 counter on the creature. That fresh counter instantly cancels out the creature's -1/-1 counter from its persist ability, allowing the cycle to start all over again for boundless resources.
