How it works

1. Activate Dollhouse of Horrors by paying 1, tapping it and exiling Tree of Perdition from your graveyard, creating a token copy of Tree of Perdition that is a 0/0 Construct with haste.
2. When the Tree of Perdition token enters the battlefield, Ayara triggers.
3. Holding priority, activate the Tree of Perdition token by tapping it, swapping an opponent's life total with Tree of Perdition's toughness.
4. Resolve the Ayara trigger, causing you to gain 1 life and each opponent to lose 1 life.
5. The opponent whose life total was swapped loses the game due to having zero or les life.

This clever engine lets you orchestrate a sudden execution by dragging an opponent's life total straight down to zero. While Dollhouse of Horrors brings Tree of Perdition back from the graveyard as a hasty 0/0 token, Ayara, First of Locthwain transforms that entry into an immediate life drain and card-drawing threat. Because the token enters with a toughness of zero, you can immediately use its tap ability to swap an opponent's life total with that zero toughness before Ayara's triggered ability even resolves, instantly knocking them out of the game.
