How it works

1. At the beginning of your combat phase, Mishra triggers, creating a token copy of Mindslaver that is a 4/4 artifact creature named Mishra's Warform in addition to it's other types.
2. Activate Mishra's Warform by paying 4, tapping and sacrificing it, targeting an opponent.
3. Holding priority, activate Lithoform Engine's first ability by paying 2 and tapping it, copying Mishra's Warform's ability, targeting any other opponent.
4. Activate Tawnos by paying and tapping it, copying Mishra's Warform's ability, targeting any other opponent.
5. Resolve all Mishra's Warform abilities, causing you to gain control of the targeted opponents during their next turns.
6. Repeat during each of your turns.

This lock relies on turning a legendary artifact into a recurring engine of control, starting with Mishra, Eminent One generating a temporary 4/4 copy of Mindslaver named Mishra's Warform every combat. Instead of just letting that token go to waste, you activate its ultimate sacrifice ability and immediately multiply the trigger using the copy abilities of both Lithoform Engine and Tawnos, Urza's Apprentice. Because these are activated abilities coming from an artifact source, Tawnos, Urza's Apprentice joins Lithoform Engine in easily doubling the target selection to lock down up to three opponents at once.
