How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Boonweaver Giant, adding CC.
2. When Boonweaver Giant dies as a legendary creature due to In Bolas's Clutches, Ratadrabik of Urborg triggers, creating a token copy of Boonweaver Giant that is a 2/2 Zombie in addition to its other types.
3. When the Boonweaver Giant token enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning In Bolas's Clutches from your graveyard to the battlefield attached to the token.
4. Repeat.

This crafty loop turns a giant into a perpetual mana machine by turning legendary status into a mechanical advantage. With Ratadrabik of Urborg on the battlefield, your non-legendary copies can step in whenever a true legend falls; however, Boonweaver Giant isn't normally legendary. That's where In Bolas's Clutches comes in, enchanting the Giant to steal it while conveniently bestowing the legendary supertype needed to trigger Ratadrabik of Urborg's resurrection magic. When you feed the enchanted Giant to Ashnod's Altar for colorless mana, its death triggers a fresh token copy, and that token's entry trigger immediately recurs In Bolas's Clutches to re-enchant the new Giant and restart the whole chain.
