How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Boonweaver Giant, adding CC.
2. When Boonweaver Giant dies, The Cauldron of Eternity and Pattern of Rebirth trigger.
3. Resolve the Cauldron of Eternity trigger, putting Boonweaver Giant on the bottom of your library from your graveyard.
4. Resolve the Pattern of Rebirth trigger, putting Boonweaver Giant from your library onto the battlefield.
5. When Boonweaver Giant enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Pattern of Rebirth from your graveyard to the battlefield attached to Boonweaver Giant.
6. Repeat.

This elegant loop spins into motion when you sacrifice Boonweaver Giant to Ashnod's Altar, generating a pair of colorless mana while setting up a brilliant chain reaction. As the Giant perishes, The Cauldron of Eternity steps in with its replacement effect to tuck the creature onto the bottom of your library instead of letting it linger in the graveyard, while Pattern of Rebirth simultaneously triggers to immediately pull that very same Boonweaver Giant straight from your library back onto the battlefield. When the Giant reappears, its own entry ability reaches out to retrieve Pattern of Rebirth from the graveyard and reattach it, leaving you ready to feed the Giant back to the Altar for infinite mana and continuous triggers.
