How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Boonweaver Giant, adding CC.
2. When Boonweaver Giant dies, Mortuary and Pattern of Rebirth trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Boonweaver Giant on the bottom of your library from your graveyard.
4. Resolve the Pattern of Rebirth trigger, putting Boonweaver Giant from your library onto the battlefield.
5. When Boonweaver Giant enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Pattern of Rebirth from your graveyard to the battlefield attached to Boonweaver Giant.
6. Repeat.

This elegant loop turns Ashnod's Altar into a relentless engine by leveraging Boonweaver Giant's entering-the-battlefield ability to continuously fetch back Pattern of Rebirth. As the Giant is sacrificed, Mortuary ensures it never truly leaves your library, neatly recycling the card right where Pattern of Rebirth can immediately tutor it back onto the battlefield. Together, these interlocking pieces generate infinite colorless mana alongside an endless stream of sacrifice, death, and entry triggers.
