How it works

1. Cast Sublime Epiphany by paying 4, targeting Hellkite Courser.
2. Holding priority, activate Rootha by paying 2 and returning it to your hand, targeting Sublime Epiphany.
3. Choose to have Rootha returned to the command zone instead of your hand.
4. Resolve the Rootha ability, copying Sublime Epiphany, targeting Hellkite Courser.
5. Resolve the copy of Sublime Epiphany, creating a token copy of Hellkite Courser.
6. The Hellkite Courser token enters the battlefield, putting Rootha from the command zone onto the battlefield.
7. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Hellkite Courser token, adding CC.
8. Repeat from step 2.
9. Optionally, you may also choose to target yourself or an opponent when casting Sublime Epiphany to force the targeted player(s) to draw infinite cards.
