How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Dockside Extortionist, adding CC.
2. Dockside Extortionist dies, triggering Svella and Mortuary.
3. Resolve the Svella trigger, untapping it.
4. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Dockside Extortionist on top of your library.
5. Activate Svella's second ability by paying 6 and tapping it, causing you to reveal the top four cards of your library and cast Dockside Extortionist without paying its mana cost.
6. Dockside Extortionist enters the battlefield, creating at least seven Treasure tokens.
7. Activate six Treasure tokens by tapping and sacrificing them, adding 4.
8. Repeat.

This brilliant loop relies on heavy-hitting resource generation to repeatedly cycle Dockside Extortionist through your graveyard and library, completely fueled by Ashnod's Altar providing the initial sacrifice outlet and mana. When Dockside Extortionist hits the battlefield to generate a wealth of Treasure tokens against the right board, Mortuary intercepts its death to slide it right back to the top of your library. From there, Svella, Ice Shaper's massive second ability steps in to peer into those top four cards and cast the goblin entirely for free, while Thornbite Staff waits in the wings to ensure everything stays coordinated through its mechanical synergies.
