How it works

1. Activate Zirda by paying 1 and tapping it, targeting a creature an opponent controls.
2. Horobi triggers, destroying that creature.
3. When the creature dies, Revel in Riches' first ability and Zirda trigger.
4. Resolve the Revel in Riches trigger, creating a Treasure artifact token.
5. Resolve the Zirda trigger, untapping it.
6. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding 1.
7. Repeat.
8. You may also repeat this loop whenever a creature enters the battlefield under an opponent's control.

This clever loop locks down your opponents' boards by turning Zirda, the Dawnwaker's activated ability into a lethal vector when combined with Horobi, Death's Wail. Because Horobi triggers and destroys any creature targeted by a spell or ability, Zirda's targeting ability becomes an instant-speed executioner's tool, while Zirda's built-in tap ability naturally untaps itself upon resolution. To fund this repeatable slaughter, Revel in Riches steps in to harvest the carnage, generating a Treasure token every time an opponent's creature dies. While Thornbite Staff is also listed in the arsenal, the core engine effortlessly cleans the board and buries your rivals in wealth and removal.
