How it works

1. Play Selesnya Sanctuary.
2. When Selesnya Sanctuary enters the battlefield, it, Springheart Nantuko, and Kodama of the East Tree trigger.
3. Resolve the Kodama of the East Tree trigger, choosing not to put anything from your hand onto the battlefield.
4. Resolve the Selesnya Sanctuary trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
5. Resolve the Springheart Nantuko trigger, creating a token.
6. When the token enters the battlefield, Kodama triggers, putting Selesnya Sanctuary from your hand onto the battlefield.
7. When Selesnya Sanctuary enters the battlefield, it and Springheart Nantuko trigger.
8. Repeat from step 4.

This elegant loop turns a humble bounce land into an engine for infinite replication. When you play Selesnya Sanctuary, its entry triggers Kodama of the East Tree and Springheart Nantuko (bestowed upon a creature) simultaneously. The trick relies on Kodama of the East Tree letting you cheat cards directly into play whenever another permanent enters—in this case, allowing you to seamlessly redrop Selesnya Sanctuary whenever Springheart Nantuko's landfall ability creates a token copy of your enchanted creature.
