How it works

1. Activate Bartolomé del Presidio by sacrificing Propeller Pioneer.
2. When Propeller Pioneer dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When Propeller Pioneer enters, its fabricate ability triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
4. Resolve the Bartolomé del Presidio ability.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn and its reverse face, Isilu, Carrier of Twilight, into an engine for endless sacrifice by granting your nontoken creatures persist. When you sacrifice Propeller Pioneer to Bartolomé del Presidio, Isilu's newly granted persist brings the Pioneer right back to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter. Fortunately, Propeller Pioneer's fabricate 1 ability immediately triggers upon its return, placing a +1/+1 counter that neatly cancels out the -1/-1 counter through state-based actions. This leaves the Pioneer fresh and ready to be sacrificed to Bartolomé del Presidio all over again, generating an infinite storm of sacrifices, deaths, and counters.
