How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Promised Kannushi, adding CC.
2. When Promised Kannushi dies, its soulshift ability triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to your hand.
3. Activate Signpost Scarecrow by paying 2, adding .
4. Cast Promised Kannushi by paying .
5. Repeat.

This ingenious loop relies on turning Promised Kannushi into a Sliver using Rukarumel, Biologist, though the true heavy lifting of the engine is handled by Ashnod's Altar and Signpost Scarecrow. By sacrificing Promised Kannushi to Ashnod's Altar, you generate the two colorless mana needed to filter through Signpost Scarecrow into the single green mana required to recast the spirit. When Promised Kannushi hits the graveyard, its soulshift ability triggers to return itself straight back to your hand, allowing you to seamlessly repeat the cycle for infinite leaves-the-battlefield, death, and entry triggers.
