How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Squee, adding CC.
2. Cast Squee from your graveyard by paying 1.
3. When Squee enters the battlefield, Mana Echoes triggers, adding C for each Goblin you control.
4. Activate Signpost Scarecrow twice by paying 4, adding .
5. Repeat.
6. If you control four or more Goblins, this combo nets infinite mana.

This clever loop turns Ashnod's Altar and Mana Echoes into an engine by exploiting Squee, the Immortal's unique ability to be repeatedly cast straight from your graveyard. As Squee enters the battlefield, Mana Echoes floods your pool with colorless mana based on your total Goblin count, which is then refined into the red mana needed to recast him using Signpost Scarecrow's color-filtering ability. Because Ashnod's Altar provides the initial sacrifice outlet and partial mana return to keep the cycle going, having four or more Goblins in play ensures this recursion yields infinite mana of any color alongside an arbitrarily high storm count.
