How it works

  1. Activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing Dockside Extortionist and Anarchist, adding CCCC.
  2. Cast Agadeem's Awakening by paying 5B manaB manaB mana, returning Anarchist and Dockside Extortionist from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  3. Anarchist and Dockside Extortionist enter the battlefield, triggering their abilities.
  4. Resolve the Anarchist trigger, returning Agadeem's Awakening from your graveyard to your hand.
  5. Resolve the Dockside Extortionist trigger, creating at least five Treasure tokens.
  6. Activate four Treasure tokens by tapping and sacrificing them, adding 1B manaB manaB mana.
  7. Repeat.

This recursive loop relies on Ashnod's Altar to convert your creatures into the raw mana needed to fuel Agadeem's Awakening over and over again. Each iteration is made possible because Anarchist continuously retrieves Agadeem's Awakening from your graveyard back to your hand, while Dockside Extortionist leverages your opponents' board state to generate the necessary Treasure tokens for extra mana. By feeding both creatures to Ashnod's Altar, you cleanly reset the board state so Agadeem's Awakening can bring them right back for another round.
