How it works

1. Cast Dockside Extortionist by paying 1.
2. When Dockside Extortionist enters the battlefield, it triggers, creating at least five Treasure artifact tokens.
3. Activate five Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding 3.
4. Cast Wizard Mentor by paying 2.
5. Activate Wizard Mentor by tapping it, returning it and Dockside Extortionist to your hand from the battlefield.
6. Repeat.
7. If opponents control at least six artifacts and/or enchantments, this combo nets infinite Treasure tokens.

This clever loop turns the wide artifact and enchantment boards of your opponents into a self-sustaining engine of infinite mana and tokens. With Tannuk, Steadfast Second ensuring your creatures can warp in and enter the fray without delay, you first deploy Dockside Extortionist to harvest a massive pile of Treasure tokens. You then use a portion of that newly minted mana to cast Wizard Mentor, whose active ability lets you bounce both itself and the Extortionist right back to your hand. Because the Extortionist's entry trigger yields enough Treasures to pay for both its own reappearance and the Mentor's activation cost—provided your opponents control at least six artifacts or enchantments—you can continuously replay and recycle the pair indefinitely.
